Meet Gregory Love
Co-Founder & Director
Gregory S. Love, managing partner of the Fort Worth, Texas law firm of Love & Norris, is the Co-founder of Abuse Prevention Systems and MinistrySafe.
His clients include camps, universities, private schools, public and private charities, and youth sports groups.
An expert in legal standards of care related to child sexual abuse, he has consulted with organizations such as the United States Olympic Committee, U.S. Center for Safe Sport, Awana International, Trail Life USA and U.S. Youth Soccer.
Mr. Love provides instruction and continuing education training to risk management professionals, and performs internal evaluation of industry controls and standard of care issues related to child sexual abuse.
Love earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas Tech University in 1987, followed by a Juris Doctor from Texas Tech School of Law. He is a member of the Texas State Bar and a fellow of the Tarrant County Bar Foundation.
Love has served as guest lecturer at Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law). With his law partner Kimberlee D. Norris, Love writes for various publications addressing child sexual abuse risk, impact, prevention and legislation.
Meet Kimberlee Norris
Co-Founder & Director
Kimberlee D. Norris is a sexual abuse trial attorney: representing victims of abuse, serving as a consulting expert in abuse cases, and providing crisis management and allegation response counsel to organizations of all sizes. An acknowledged authority in legal standards of care, Norris has trained over three million child-serving staff members and volunteers since 2005. With her law partner, Gregory Love, she serves as Co-founder and Director of Abuse Prevention Systems and MinistrySafe, which grew out of their desire to place proactive tools and training into the hands of child-serving organizations.
Norris earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Texas A&M University in 1985, followed by a Juris Doctor from Baylor School of Law. She is a member of the Texas State Bar and a fellow of the Tarrant County Bar Foundation.
Meet Georgia McKnight
Associate Director
Georgia McKnight is an attorney in the Fort Worth, Texas law firm of Love & Norris, serving as an Associate Director of Abuse Prevention Systems and MinistrySafe.
McKnight worked as a legal advocate at the Duke Law School Children’s Clinic, where she provided representation to underserved children in North Carolina public schools.
As the Research Director of Abuse Prevention Institute, she provides comprehensive analysis of state and federal law governing child-serving entities. Her most recent publication, Children Should Win: The FCRA Amendment Necessary to Facilitate Child Protection, supports legislative change at the federal level, thereby facilitating transparency in criminal records accessible to child-serving organizations.
Through the law firm, McKnight provides legal research related to sexual abuse prevention, response and risk management.
McKnight earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Philosophy
(Summa Cum Laude) from Texas A&M University (2019), followed by a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law. She is a member of the Texas State Bar and the Tarrant County Bar Association.
Meet David Chase
Director of Operations
David Chase is the Director of Operations at Abuse Prevention Systems, where he leads the organization’s day-to-day operations with a focus on operational efficiency and strategic growth. Before joining Abuse Prevention Systems, David utilized his skillset at BetterMan, a Dallas-based nonprofit, leveraging technology focused on virtuous manhood. He also served as Executive Pastor at Lake Church in Arlington.
David's diverse professional background spans over a decade in the energy and agriculture sectors with a Dallas-based conglomerate and eight years in K-12 education and educational technology. In addition to his industry roles, he has dedicated the last eight years to academia, serving as adjunct faculty in the Colleges of Business at Dallas Baptist University, his alma mater, where he has taught courses on Organizational Behavior and Management.
David holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration degree. He and his wife have been married for over 20 years and are proud parents of two children—one currently in high school and the other attending college.
